New ‘RAF Defford Walk’ launched at Croome

1st May 2013 saw the launch of the ‘RAF Defford Walk‘, published by the Defford Airfield Heritage Group. The route map is now available in a booklet from the Croome National Trust Visitor Reception.

The walking route takes Croome visitors around the sites where key features of RAF Defford Airfield used to be, while explaining the history of ‘The Secret Airfield’ during the Second World War and afterwards.

The booklet price is £1.00.
